I made my own Twisty Ties with the Washi, using some old jewelry wire, and a couple of wire tools.

My best tips and how I did it:
-use shorter pieces of wire (maybe 4 inches or less)
-straighten the wire with a burnisher
-put tape sticky side up on the table, still attached to Washi roll
-press down wire into tape
-unroll more tape
-fold tape over end of wire
-make sure tape is even before sticking both sides together (easier than it sounds-LOL)
